Clinique Juge

Algernon Race 2022

Posted on 10/14/2022

On Sunday 09 October 2022, the Clinique Juge took part in the Algernon race: the largest national event to bring together able-bodied and disabled athletes in the same event, with no distinction between participants.

In support of associations that help people with disabilities, a range of sporting events were on offer: a 5km walk, a 5km run, a 10km run and a 15km run. Starting from the Palais du Pharo and running along the Corniche, the finish line was set for Plage du Prado. The event brought together athletes of all abilities, as well as people with mental, motor, visual, hearing or psychological disabilities, and the elderly. The atmosphere was festive.

The cloudy skies did not deter the 6,000 participants who turned out to support the event. It was a great way to rally together for a noble cause.
