Posted on 10/13/2022October is Cyber Security Awareness Month.
The use of digital tools to exchange, store data, share or make purchases is growing all the time, and our vigilance decreases as we use more and more computer and digital resources.
That's why it's so important to be able to identify the attempts at fraud that we all face: tempting offers, attachments to download, redirection links, etc. These attacks are known as phishing and are aimed at companies or individuals with the aim of recovering personal and/or banking information, breaking into our network to install malicious software while pretending to be a trusted third party.
Fake text messages, phone calls, emails... How can you protect yourself?

To prevent these attacks, Cyber Malveillance has created a Family Guide, which you can find by clicking here, with 10 essential best practices to protect your family's digital habits.
In addition, a Family Quiz in the form of a competition has been designed to facilitate dialogue around cyber security. The Cybermalveillance.gouv.fr Family Cyber Quiz will be available from 24 October.
Good to know: an organisation or company never asks for personal information such as credit cards, social security numbers or other strictly confidential information! Don't forget to check messages, emails and links for spelling mistakes and special characters.
