The arrival of the Mako robot!

Posted on 11/16/2023

Already at the forefront of technological innovation, the Juge Clinic is now offering the option of knee replacement assisted by the Mako robot. Accuracy, customisation of the operation and accelerated recovery are just some of the reasons why we decided to equip ourselves with a 'robot assistant', given that 100,000 knee replacement operations are carried out every year in France.

This robotic assistance enables patients suffering from osteoarthritis of the knee - 30% of the over-65s - to reduce the length of their post-operative stay and achieve their rehabilitation goals more quickly. This minimally invasive technique also means less post-operative pain.

" For our establishment, which specialises in orthopaedics and sports medicine, the arrival of Mako sends out a positive signal to patients undergoing knee replacement surgery: the possibility of a quicker and more precise operation," says Anne Leandri, Director of the Clinique Juge.
